Pakistan: In another medical negligence case in Pakistan, a gynaecologist left a towel inside the abdomen of the patient while performing emergency C Section in a private hospital at Atta town, Jahanian. Subsequently the patient became critical and has been transferred to Nishtar Hospital, Multan.
According to the patients husband the patient has delivered a baby boy after 20 years of their marriage. After a fortnight the condition of the patient deteoirated and she was first taken to THQ hospital, Jahanian from where she was referred to Nishtar Hospital, Multan. The condition of the patient is said to be critical. The patient relative allege that the private hospital that had performed the C Section is not willing to accept its fault and the patients family members have demanded strict action against the private hospital as the patient is fighting between life and death.
