Warangal: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has made it mandatory for non-service candidates seeking admission to postgraduate (PG) medical degree and diploma courses to submit a service bond at the time of admission, committing to serve the Telangana State Government for one year.

According to the university prospectus for the 2025-2026 academic year, the bond requirements are as follows:

Bond Amount:

  • PG Diploma Courses: Rs. 10 lakh
  • PG Degree Courses: Rs. 20 lakh

Execution and Terms:

  • Candidates must execute the bond on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100, agreeing to complete the prescribed training period.
  • In case of default, candidates must pay Rs. 50 lakh to KNRUHS and refund any stipend or salary received during their course.
  • The bond ensures that non-service postgraduates serve in Government institutions as directed by the Telangana State Government for a minimum of one year.

Penalty for Leaving the Course:

  • Candidates who discontinue the course after the last date for Free Exit will have to pay Rs. 50 lakh as a seat-leaving penalty.
  • Such candidates will also be barred from participating in PG admissions counseling for three years under KNRUHS.

Certificates Submission:

  • Original certificates submitted at the time of admission will not be returned until candidates complete their course, ensuring compliance with bond terms.

This bond system aims to retain medical graduates in government service, prevent seat blocking, and ensure continuity of training and service in Telangana’s health institutions.
