New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced an extension for the submission of the Annual Declaration Form. The new deadline is now December 10, 2024, extended from the previous date of November 30, 2024.

This submission is mandatory for all medical colleges and institutions, except for those granted a Letter of Permission (LOP) in 2024 and not admitting students for the academic year 2024-25.

The Annual Declaration Form must be submitted on the NMC portal to secure the annual renewal of UG-MBBS seat permissions. Institutions failing to submit the form within the specified timeline will not be allowed to retain any seats.

The NMC stated in an official notification, “This is the final opportunity to provide the required information to the National Medical Commission as mandated by Chapter II of MSMER 2023. Non-compliance with the regulations will result in strict penalties as specified in Chapter II of MSMER 2023.”

Additionally, the notification emphasized that colleges or institutions that fail to complete the submission will not be permitted to conduct MBBS admissions for the academic year 2025-26.
