Hyderabad: A medical officer at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital in Erragadda has been booked for sexually harassing a senior woman doctor serving as the in-charge superintendent of the hospital.
According to Borabanda police, the accused is currently absconding.
Case Details
The 49-year-old victim, originally deputed to the Government Ayurvedic Hospital in Charminar, was recently posted as in-charge at the Erragadda hospital.
- Over the past few days, the accused had allegedly been sending her vulgar messages on WhatsApp.
- On February 17, the accused entered her chamber and allegedly misbehaved with her, leaving her shocked.
Borabanda Station House Officer (SHO) S. Veerashekar stated that they are examining the evidence and the investigation will proceed accordingly.
