New Delhi: Max Healthcare and Medtronic inaugurated the Max-Medtronic Skill Lab at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket. The facility is designed to advance training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical techniques, reflecting the partners’ shared commitment to clinical excellence and medical education.
Focus on Advanced Surgical Training
The Skill Lab offers comprehensive, structured training modules for surgeons, nurses, OT technicians, and paramedics. Programs range from hands-on workshops to advanced upskilling sessions, emphasizing practical experience and real-world application. The initiative also includes patient and caregiver education on the benefits of minimally invasive procedures, such as faster recovery, smaller incisions, reduced infection risk, and less tissue trauma.

Dr Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director of Max Healthcare, highlighted the lab’s role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and structured clinical training.
