
Hyderabad: A doctor, reportedly distressed over personal issues, allegedly died by suicide on the railway tracks between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station late on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Purohit Kishore Prakashmal (34), a resident of Pradhanampuri Colony in Kapra. He was working as a doctor at the Basthi Dawakhana in Alwal.
According to the police, Kishore Prakashmal had been upset over personal problems for the past few days. On Wednesday, he ended his life by jumping in front of a moving train on the down main line between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station.
The loco pilot of the train alerted the authorities, following which the railway police reached the spot and shifted the remains to Gandhi Hospital for further procedures.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) have registered a case and initiated an investigation. However, the family has not raised any suspicion regarding his death.
