Born in Pathsala, Dr. Agrawala completed his early schooling locally before pursuing medical education at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. He earned his MBBS in 1974, followed by an MD in 1979, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service in healthcare.

In 1979, Dr. Agrawala began his medical practice in Bongaigaon by opening a small clinic that charged a nominal consultation fee of just five rupees, ensuring affordable healthcare for all.
