Over 5,000 centres, free consultations, and nationwide yoga programs aim to improve access to holistic healthcare

Acharya Balkrishna has reiterated the vision of Patanjali Ayurved to make affordable and accessible healthcare available across India by integrating Ayurveda, yoga, and telemedicine services.

Focus on Blending Traditional Knowledge with Modern Healthcare

In a recent Facebook video, Balkrishna stated that Patanjali’s mission goes beyond being a commercial enterprise, positioning itself as a public health-driven institution. He emphasized that the organisation develops evidence-based Ayurvedic medicines supported by research, aiming to address modern health challenges through traditional healing systems.

Expansion of Healthcare Network Across India

Highlighting the scale of operations, Balkrishna said that with institutional support, Patanjali has established more than 5,000 treatment facilities nationwide. These centres are designed to reach populations with limited access to hospitals and modern medical services, providing Ayurvedic consultation and treatments at the grassroots level.

Free Ayurvedic Consultation and Remote Access

He noted that consultations at these centres are offered free of cost, ensuring affordability for all sections of society. For individuals unable to visit physically, remote healthcare services have been introduced, allowing access to medical advice from a distance.

Large-Scale Yoga Programs Benefiting Lakhs Daily

Balkrishna also highlighted the widespread reach of yoga initiatives led by Swami Ramdev. According to him, between 80,000 to 100,000 yoga sessions are conducted across the country, benefiting lakhs of people every day. These sessions are also broadcast via television, enabling wider participation.

Telemedicine Services and Helpline Support

Further strengthening its healthcare outreach, Patanjali is offering telemedicine services through more than 200 facilities. These include free online consultations, including video-based medical guidance. Additionally, a toll-free helpline (1800-296-1111) has been launched to provide health-related assistance.

While consultations and advisory services are free, patients can purchase prescribed medicines from nearby stores or opt for home delivery services.
