Hyderabad : In line with the introduction of one-week AYUSH training in the MBBS internship program by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Andhra Pradesh government has issued a notice that the AYUSH student must undergo modern clinical training in the state. The Central government has been taking initiatives for the development of AYUSH and also combining AYUSH with modern medicine to achieve holistic treatment facilities. 

The state government’s notice reads, “Government hereby decide and permit the students of AYUSH colleges both government and private to undergo clinical training in modern hospitals mentioned against the AYUSH college as per the norms/guidelines of Central Council of AYUSH systems and also hereby direct the DME, DPH, APVVP and other heads of respective institutions to arrange clinical training to the students of AYUSH colleges both government and private to be established in future also, subject to, a fee need to fixed to be collected from AYUSH colleges (private) per head which shall be remitted to the government.”
