New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notification inviting eligible faculty members from medical colleges to serve as PG guides and participate in assessing medical institutions. Faculty from government medical colleges or institutions can express their willingness by mid-December through the provided Google link: Submission Form.

The NMC aims to engage faculty members for inspections related to undergraduate and postgraduate applications for the academic year 2025-26. These inspections, conducted by the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) under the NMC Act, 2019, are critical for maintaining the quality of medical education. The MARB will initiate inspections in due course, employing faculty assessors from various government medical colleges.

According to the official notification, NMC will carry out surprise inspections at medical colleges to ensure compliance and enhance educational standards. Faculty members from government medical institutions will play a key role in these evaluations.

Additionally, NMC has extended the deadline for submitting the Annual Declaration Form from November 30, 2024, to December 10, 2024. This submission is mandatory for all medical colleges/institutions, except those granted a Letter of Permission (LOP) in 2024 and those not admitting students for the 2024-25 academic year.
