Hanamkonda: In a deeply distressing incident, a young dental surgeon employed at a private hospital in Hanamkonda was found dead at her residence in Hasanparthy, reportedly having died by suicide. The woman allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling, though her family strongly suspects foul play.
Husband Accused of Harassment, Affair With Influencer
According to initial reports, the woman was facing mental harassment from her husband—a cardiologist and assistant professor at Kakatiya Medical College. Her family claims that his extramarital relationship with a social media influencer caused frequent arguments between the couple and ultimately drove her to take this drastic step.
Family Alleges Murder, Points to Injuries on Body
The woman’s family has refuted the suicide theory, alleging that she was murdered. They stated that injury marks and bleeding wounds were found on her body—raising questions about the official version of events.
“We suspect she did not die by suicide. There are injury marks. This must be thoroughly investigated,” said her father, speaking to Telangana Today.
No Suicide Note Recovered; Police Begin Investigation
The incident occurred on Monday, but the police did not find any suicide note at the scene. While the case has been registered as a suspected suicide, the family’s complaint has prompted authorities to take the husband into custody for questioning. A detailed investigation is currently underway.
Marriage Since 2017; Couple Had Two Children
The deceased had been married to the accused doctor since 2017. The couple has two daughters. Her father alleged that the husband began neglecting the family after developing a relationship with a woman he met on Instagram, leading to escalating mental and physical abuse.
One day before the incident, her in-laws reportedly took the children to Cherla in Kothagudem, which further intensified the family’s suspicion.
Police Register Case Based on Family’s Complaint
Following the complaint filed by the woman’s father, the police have registered a case and are now conducting a thorough probe. The husband has been taken in for questioning, and officials have assured that all angles—including murder and domestic abuse—are being examined.
