Jalandhar: Dr MS Bhutani has assumed the presidency of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Jalandhar, during a ceremony held at a private hotel. He introduced the newly appointed team members, including Dr. Puja Kapoor as Secretary, Dr. H-S Bhutani as Finance Secretary, and Dr. Harish Nanda as Press Secretary.
Dr. Bhutani succeeded Dr. Deepak Chawla and is a respected paediatrician with over three decades of experience. He outlined his vision for the coming year, focusing on initiatives such as promoting girls’ education, environmental sustainability, and cancer prevention.
The event also saw the unveiling of the ‘IMA Booklet 2025’ and the launch of the ‘Bowls’ Healthy Recipe Book by Ayesha Bhutani.
