Cuttack: Dr. Biswanath Adhek, a Surgery Specialist at the Badamba Community Health Centre in Cuttack, was arrested by Odisha Vigilance on charges of accepting a ₹2,000 bribe. The bribe was part of an overall demand of ₹5,000 for issuing a favorable post-mortem report and providing biased evidence in court.
