All FMGs Association Urges Rajasthan Medical Council for Timely Action

Jaipur: The All FMGs Association has voiced dissatisfaction with the Rajasthan Medical Council over delays in the internship counselling process for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs). Despite five months having passed since the completion of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), no official internship notice has been released, leaving graduates in limbo. The association has appealed to higher authorities to intervene, highlighting that even with a newly appointed registrar, there has been no improvement in the process.

Social Media Outcry and Calls for Urgent Action

In a recent social media post, the association criticized the council for its prolonged delays and lack of transparency, stating, “It’s been five months since the FMGE, yet there’s no update on the internship notice.” Although a merit list for FMG internship counselling for the May 2024 session was released, the official internship notice remains unpublished. The association has urged immediate action to prevent further setbacks for graduates.
