Focus on Transparency and Cleanliness
New Delhi: The Ministry of Ayush has strengthened its initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cleanliness under Special Campaign 5.0, conducted from October 2 to October 31, 2025. The campaign aims to streamline administrative procedures, improve record management, and reinforce sustained cleanliness across all Ayush institutions.

Improved Administrative Processes
During the month-long drive, the Ministry recorded significant progress across multiple administrative parameters. A total of 658 public grievances and 59 public grievance appeals were successfully disposed of, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to citizen-centric governance.

Strengthened Public Interface
In addition to grievance disposal, two references received from Members of Parliament were resolved during the campaign. This reflects improved coordination and responsiveness toward public representatives and their concerns.

Cleanliness Drives Across the Country
As part of the cleanliness component, 68 cleanliness drives were organized across various Ayush establishments nationwide. These efforts helped promote a cleaner, healthier working environment and fostered greater community involvement.

Enhanced Record Management
The Ministry also weeded out 101 old files, improving record management efficiency. This step contributed to creating a more organized administrative setup and reducing unnecessary document load.

Space Optimization and Revenue Generation
The campaign further resulted in the freeing up of 1,365 square feet of office space through systematic scrap disposal. This exercise generated a revenue of ₹7,35,500, showcasing the Ministry’s focus on resource optimization and workplace efficiency.

Active Participation from Ayush Community
Special Campaign 5.0 saw enthusiastic participation from officials, staff, and the larger Ayush fraternity. Cleanliness and awareness drives were organized at herbal gardens, community spaces, and public areas. Senior officials led activities at Ayush Bhawan and other institutions, promoting collective responsibility and civic awareness.

Commitment to Holistic and Citizen-Centric Governance
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards in cleanliness and grievance redressal. Earlier, Medical Dialogues reported the Ministry’s emphasis on the role of Ayush systems in holistic, preventive, and rehabilitative care for stroke—one of India’s leading health concerns.
