Strategic partnership aims to modernize traditional medicine through technology, entrepreneurship, and evidence-based research
In a significant move to integrate traditional medicine with modern innovation, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the All India Institute of Ayurveda – Incubation Centre for Ayurveda Innovation and Entrepreneurship (iCAINE). The collaboration is set to accelerate research, technological advancement, and entrepreneurial growth in the field of Ayurveda.
New Opportunities for Students and Researchers
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Govind Sahay Shukla stated that the partnership will open new avenues for students, researchers, and faculty, particularly in innovation and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that such collaborations are crucial for strengthening Ayurveda within a modern framework, allowing it to adapt to evolving global challenges.
The initiative is also expected to generate employment opportunities and encourage startup culture among young professionals, contributing to both academic excellence and economic development.
Bridging Tradition with Modern Science
Director Prof. Pradeep Kumar Prajapati described the MoU as a major step toward enhancing Ayurveda’s global recognition and acceptance. He highlighted the importance of blending traditional knowledge systems with modern scientific methodologies.
According to him, adopting evidence-based approaches alongside classical Ayurvedic principles can significantly improve the credibility and global applicability of Ayurveda.

CEO Sujeet Eranezath of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship stated that the collaboration will focus on promoting Ayurveda-based innovations, providing technical support, and building a strong startup ecosystem.
He added that the initiative aims to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students, enabling them to transform ideas into practical solutions and successful enterprises.

Under the MoU, students and researchers will gain access to:
