An anaesthesiologist from All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal, who was battling for life after an alleged suicide attempt involving his family, passed away on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Narasaraopet.
Wife and 3-Year-Old Daughter Found Dead in Lodge
The tragic incident came to light on Sunday when hotel staff discovered the doctor, his wife, and their three-year-old daughter lying unconscious in a lodge room. Police were immediately informed and rushed to the spot.
Upon arrival, authorities found that the doctor’s wife and daughter had already died, while the doctor was still alive but in critical condition. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, where he later succumbed.
Alleged Use of Intoxicating Injections
Preliminary investigations suggest that the doctor allegedly administered intoxicating injections to his wife, daughter, and himself in an apparent suicide attempt. The exact substances used are yet to be confirmed, pending forensic analysis.
