Noida, January 26 – A 50-year-old doctor, Dr. Dinesh Gaur, was found murdered in his rented house in Greater Noida, with his two tenants missing, police said on Tuesday.
Incident Details
Dr. Gaur’s blood-soaked body was discovered inside a room of his house in Sanjay Vihar Colony, Kulesara village, on January 26. Police suspect that the crime was committed by a man and a woman who had rented the room just three days before the murder and are now absconding.
Sequence of Events
According to Noida Police Media In-charge Lakshmi Singh:
- Dr. Gaur lived with his family in Pocket-D, Kundli, Delhi, but also owned a house in Greater Noida, where he had built a rental room that he occasionally used as a rest area.
- On the evening of January 25, he traveled from Delhi to his house in Kulesara.
- When his son tried calling him on January 26 and received no response, he rushed to the house.
- Upon arrival, he found the door locked from the outside. After breaking it open, he discovered his father lying dead in a pool of blood and immediately informed the police.
Investigation Underway
The body has been sent for post-mortem, and police are tracking the suspects using CCTV footage. A search operation is underway to apprehend them.
