Police Await Autopsy Report to Determine Cause of Death
Sultanpur : Dr. Ramesh Yadav (47), superintendent of the Baldirai Community Health Centre (CHC) in Sultanpur district, was found dead at his residence under mysterious circumstances on Monday, police said.
Doctor Fails to Attend Scheduled Health Camp
A camp under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana was being held at the CHC when Yadav remained absent. When staff members reminded him about the event, he assured them he would arrive soon. However, after repeated calls went unanswered, his colleagues grew concerned.
Upon receiving no response to knocks on his door, CHC staff alerted the police.
Police Discover Body in Bathroom
Baldirai Station House Officer (SHO) Dheeraj Kumar stated that officers forced entry into Yadav’s residence but did not find him in his room. A search led them to the bathroom, where Yadav was discovered lying lifeless.
His body has been sent for autopsy, and his family in Lucknow has been notified.
Preliminary Findings Suggest Cardiac Arrest
While initial observations indicate that Yadav may have suffered a cardiac arrest, the exact cause of death will be confirmed once the post-mortem report is received. Further investigations are ongoing.
