Authorities are also examining CCTV footage from nearby establishments and questioning local individuals as part of the ongoing probe.
Incident Comes Amid Rising Threats Targeting Hospitals
The incident has raised fresh concerns over the safety of hospitals and healthcare facilities amid recent threat-related cases across the country.
Earlier, panic had erupted at Sawai Man Singh Hospital after the hospital allegedly received a bomb threat demanding Rs 40 crore. The caller had reportedly warned of blowing up the hospital premises if the ransom amount was not paid.
The latest incident in Pune has once again highlighted growing security concerns surrounding major healthcare institutions and the need for heightened vigilance around public places.
