A Pathway to Viksit Bharat

  • Affordability and Inclusion: The Minister emphasized that homeopathy contributes to a model of well-being that is not only effective but also socially inclusive and environmentally responsible.
  • Last Mile Healthcare: Jadhav described the system as a powerful tool for “Last Mile Healthcare,” ensuring that even underserved populations have access to affordable medical care.

World Homeopathy Day 2026

The Prime Minister’s endorsement coincided with the commemoration of World Homeopathy Day 2026, observed under the theme “Homoeopathy for Sustainable Health”.

  • Institutional Strength: Currently, India boasts a robust network comprising approximately 3.45 lakh registered practitioners, over 8,500 dispensaries, and 291 homeopathic colleges.
  • Evidence-Based Advancement: Minister Jadhav stressed the government’s commitment to strengthening the field through interdisciplinary collaboration and sustained research to ensure high-quality standards.

Global and Domestic Recognition

Initiatives like ‘Aura’ and ‘AYUSH ID’ are being leveraged to enhance transparency and accessibility within the sector, further integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific research.
