
Surabhi Raj Succumbs to Bullet Injuries; Investigation Underway
Patna: In a shocking incident, Surabhi Raj (35), director of a private hospital in Patna’s Agamkuan area, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen inside the hospital on Saturday afternoon, police confirmed.
According to Atulesh Jha, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Patna City-1, Surabhi Raj was not a doctor but held the position of hospital director.
Police Respond to Emergency Call, Victim Dies at AIIMS Patna
The incident came to light when Agamkuan police station received a call around 3:30 PM, reporting a shooting inside the hospital. Upon arrival, police found Surabhi Raj in a pool of blood with multiple bullet wounds. She was rushed to the ICU of the same hospital before being shifted to AIIMS Patna, where she succumbed to her injuries in the evening.
Motive Unclear, Investigation in Progress
The victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem, and police are currently investigating the motive behind the attack.
“Our team is collecting evidence from all possible angles. The investigation is underway to identify and arrest the assailants,” SDPO Atulesh Jha stated.
Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements to gather crucial leads in the case.
