Wednesday, February 5

New Delhi: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha, has officially announced the postponement of the Odisha NEET PG 2024 Round 3 counselling process. The decision comes after an update posted on the DMET website (dmetodisha.in), although no specific reason has been cited. However, it is speculated that the delay may be due to the need to align with the MCC AIQ (All India Quota) counselling process.

Previous Schedule Cancelled

The physical counselling for Round 3 was initially scheduled to take place from February 5 to February 6, 2025, followed by reporting at colleges from February 7 to February 9. Colleges were also supposed to share candidate data with the Convener by February 10, 2025. With the recent postponement, all these dates have been cancelled.

New Schedule to Be Announced

DMET Odisha has clarified that the new schedule for the Round 3 counselling will be announced soon. Candidates are advised to frequently check the official DMET website for updates on the revised counselling dates.

Advice for Candidates

Candidates are urged to keep their required documents ready in order to facilitate a smooth admission process once the counselling resumes.
