New Delhi: The Union Health Minister, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, has officially presented the department-wise faculty requirements mandated for medical colleges seeking MBBS admissions, under the Minimum Standard Requirements (MSR) Regulations 2023 issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The information was shared in response to a query raised in the Lok Sabha.

These norms outline the minimum number of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Tutors/Demonstrators, and Senior Residents required for medical colleges offering 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 MBBS seats.
