Deadline Extended to November 30, 2024
New Delhi: The Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) under the National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced an extension for the submission of annual declaration details by medical institutions. Initially scheduled for earlier, the new deadline has been set to November 30, 2024.
The official notification states:
“In continuation of the Under Graduate Medical Education Board Public Notice of even number dated 01.11.2024 regarding submission of annual declaration details/data of respective institutions on NMC portal as required in the NMC Act, 2019 and various regulations issued by NMC from time to time. It has now been decided to extend the last date of submission of the details along with the requisite fee including GST on the NMC Portal to November 30, 2024.”
Key Details to be Included in the Annual Declaration
The annual declaration data, to be submitted for a one-year period, must include:
- Curriculum Details:
Institutions need to specify if the curriculum incorporates problem-solving and clinical reasoning experiences, along with examples and methods used to assess student achievements. - Mid-course Assessments:
Colleges must describe their approach to ensuring mid-course assessments, including methods such as test result reviews. - Faculty Availability:
Details regarding faculty availability and specific requirements for different courses must be provided.
