Rs 44 Crore Project for Vishram Sadan at AIIMS Gorakhpur
New Delhi: NBCC (India) Ltd has bagged a contract worth Rs 44.37 crore from Power Grid Corporation to construct and furnish a 500-bed multi-storey Vishram Sadan at AIIMS Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Key Projects Secured by NBCC
- AIIMS Gorakhpur Vishram Sadan:
- Rs 44.37 crore project for constructing and furnishing a 500-bed facility.
- Commercial Complex in Varanasi:
- Rs 300-crore contract from Varanasi Development Authority for the Jawaharlal Nehru Commercial Complex (JLNCC) at Englishya Lines on a self-sustainable model.
- IIT Roorkee Data Science Facility:
- Rs 24.38 crore project for constructing the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, including advanced infrastructure installations like HVAC, firefighting, and CCTV systems.
Cumulative Work Orders
NBCC announced that these projects, totaling Rs 368.75 crore, were secured as part of its regular business operations. The company specializes in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and real estate ventures.
Earlier, NBCC’s subsidiary, HSCC (India) Ltd, secured contracts worth Rs 1,322.48 crore for constructing hospitals and expanding medical facilities under the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
