Kalyan: The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has inaugurated a unique physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre for 5,500 specially-abled residents. The facility will provide free physiotherapy services and related treatments under one roof.

Inaugurated by Kalyan MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde and KDMC Chief Dr. Indurani Jakhar, the center will be managed by a team of medical professionals, including physiotherapists. Dr. Shinde noted that the centre would save specially-abled residents from traveling to distant cities like Mumbai or Thane for treatment.

The centre, located near Kalyan railway station, covers an area of 6,000 square feet and is designed to accommodate a large number of individuals with physical or mental challenges.
