Jamshedpur : Jharkhand’s Health Minister, Dr. Irfan Ansari, conducted an inspection of the Sadar Hospital on Sunday evening to review the infrastructure and medical services. He assessed the hospital’s readiness to manage patient load and ensure efficient healthcare delivery.

Following the inspection, the Health Minister will attend a ceremonial event on Monday, April 21, at Town Hall, Sidhgora, where he will distribute appointment letters to newly recruited contractual employees under the National Health Mission (NHM). Dr. Ansari will personally hand over appointment letters to candidates for various critical positions such as ANM-RCH, Staff Nurse-RCH, GNM-CHC NCD Clinic, Pharmacist-RBSK, Social Worker-RBSK, Ophthalmic Assistant, and Nutritional Counselor-MTC.

This recruitment drive is aimed at bolstering healthcare services, especially in rural and underserved areas, and is seen as a significant step in addressing human resource shortages in the state’s healthcare system. The event is set to begin at 11:00 AM, with the Civil Surgeon Office ensuring all arrangements are in place for a smooth ceremony.

Local health authorities, NHM officials, and the recruits’ families are expected to attend the event.
