The Indian Medical Association (IMA) honored medical teachers with Titles of Honorary Professor of IMA for their contribution in the society. Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh, IMA National President honored a total of 46 medical teachers who came from different states.
The mega event was inaugurated by Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Food and Processing Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras. While speaking at the event, Dr Mandaviya lauded the contribution of Medical Practitioners in development of the country and appreciated the role of Indian Medical Association in guiding the entire Medical Community and the general public.
Mandaviya recalled the role of the doctors during the COVID19 pandemic wherein the entire Medical Practitioners worked in War Footing on a call given by our beloved Prime Minister. He appreciated the role of the Indian medical Association for working closely with the Government and for playing a positive role in bringing up improvement in the Healthcare sector in the country.
