Pune: In a significant move to address concerns faced by private medical professionals, Health Minister Prakash Abitkar has promised government support to ensure a smooth and hassle-free practice for private doctors.

Speaking at the “Private Medical Professionals’ Dialogue” event in Pune, Abitkar emphasized the crucial role of private doctors in healthcare delivery and assured them of solutions to various challenges they encounter.

  • Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MPJAY) and its implementation
  • Biomedical waste management regulations
  • Mumbai Nursing Home Registration Act and amendments to Maharashtra Nursing Home Rules
  • PCPNDT Act and surrogacy regulations
  • ART bank and blood bank registrations
  • Safety and security of doctors and hospitals
