Lucknow: Fortis Healthcare has entered into a collaboration agreement with Ekana Group for the operations and management of a 550-bedded greenfield super-speciality hospital near Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The hospital will be developed by Ekana Group and positioned as a Centre of Excellence for tertiary care services.

This collaboration comes soon after Fortis acquired Shrimann Superspecialty Hospital in Jalandhar for ₹462 crore. The healthcare provider is also making strides in clinical innovation. At its Bengaluru facility, Fortis recently launched the TREAT program (Total Robot Enabled and Assisted Transplant), achieving a first-of-its-kind milestone in India by performing simultaneous robotic kidney transplant surgeries on a donor and recipient.
