New Delhi: Dr Ajay Kumar Gupta who had served as the Director in the Department of Orthopaedics at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi has passed away. In a press release by the resident doctors association of MAMC, the association has expressed grief over the demise of the doctor and said “It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we express our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Prof. Ajay Kumar Gupta, a cherished mentor and a revered teacher’s demise leaves in indelible void in our heart as we remember a man of immense knowledge and unwavering passion for orthopaedics.” The press release added “As we bid farewell to our esteemed teacher and colleague we acknowledge the significant impact he has left on orthopaedics in Delhi and by extension this country. Prof Ahay Kumar Gupta will be dearly missed but his contribution to the field will continue to resonate through the countless lives he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
