Bhopal: In a major step towards improving rural healthcare accessibility, Medyseva has launched its flagship Doctor’s Consortium model – MedySwaasth, starting with the Medyseva Narmada Consortium in Madhya Pradesh. This initiative aims to address the severe shortage of medical professionals in remote areas, where over 60% of rural residents travel up to 100 km for basic healthcare services.
Bridging the Rural Healthcare Gap with ‘Phygital’ Model
Medyseva’s ‘phygital’ telemedicine approach integrates digital consultations with in-person care, ensuring affordable and quality healthcare in villages like Ashta, Khategaon, Sonkatch, Tarana, and Badnagar. These villages, with populations between 1.7 lakh and 2.6 lakh, are located 72 to 120 km from Indore, highlighting the need for accessible medical services.
Founded by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal and Rachita Kasliwal, Medyseva connects rural patients with over 1,000 doctors across 20 medical specialties through its mobile app, supported by trained nurses and paramedics on the ground. The platform collaborates with 25 private hospitals and five medical colleges, ensuring access to specialist care when needed.
Transforming Rural Healthcare Through Technology
Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, Founder & CEO of Medyseva, called the initiative a “game-changer” for underserved communities. “By linking expert doctors with rural patients, we ensure no one is left behind. With 200+ satellite clinics in 10 states, Medyseva is providing expert teleconsultations, vital health screenings, and a steady supply of essential medicines.”
Medyseva also promotes preventive healthcare through its Medymate initiative, which organizes health camps, awareness programs, and improves medicine accessibility via IoT-powered drug vending machines (Medyvend).
Expanding Access to Millions
Dr. Vasundhara Shukla, COO of Medyseva, emphasized the organization’s ambitious expansion plans, aiming to increase satellite clinics fivefold in the next few years. “By leveraging technology, strategic partnerships, and an inclusive approach, Medyseva is set to democratize rural healthcare delivery across India,” she added.
