27-Year-Old Woman Dies by Suicide at Nalgonda Government Hospital Days After Childbirth

A 27-year-old woman who had given birth to a baby boy eight days ago allegedly died by suicide at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Nalgonda in the early hours of Wednesday.

The deceased was a resident of Chikatimamidi village in Munugode mandal. She had delivered a baby boy at the Mother and Child Hospital at GGH approximately eight days before the incident. According to reports, she already had three daughters.

Woman Found Dead Near Post-Mortem Hall

The woman had been staying at the hospital following the delivery when she allegedly came out of the ward during the early hours of Wednesday.

She was later found in a shed located near the post-mortem hall on the hospital premises, where she allegedly died by suicide.
