J & K Dental Council president lauds National Conference to include recruitment of dental surgeons in manifesto

Jammu: Dr Bhupinder Singh, President of the J&K Dental Council, has lauded the National Conference’s (NC) manifesto promise to address the recruitment of dental surgeons. “This pledge is a significant advancement for the oral and dental health sector of the region,” Singh said.

Singh expressed his appreciation for the NC’s commitment to time-bound recruitment for over 6,000 dental surgeons currently registered with the Council. “The manifesto highlights a crucial step towards enhancing the delivery of dental healthcare services,” he said. Singh said since 2008, there has been no Public Service Examination for the recruitment of dental surgeons, resulting in uncertainty and delays for many qualified professionals.
