Saran, Bihar: The police have arrested a female doctor on charges of attempt to murder after she allegedly chopped off the private parts of her boyfriend. The boyfriend was a councillor of Ward No.12 in Madhaura block and has been admitted at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for further treatment.

Meanwhile the doctor, whose is 25 year old, is unmarried. She was having her practice in Madhaura block. The accused doctor was having affair with the councillor who is also bachelor for the last five years. It is being alleged that the councillor though having affair with the doctor has been refusing to marry the doctor. The doctor somehow convinced the councillor for a registered marriage in court. Accordingly, she reached the court for the marriage but the victim councillor did not turn up. After this, the doctor called the victim councillor to her house, and when he reached there, she allegedly chopped off his private part. On hearing the councillor’s cry, the neighbours informed the police who found him lying on a bed in a pool of blood. “We have arrested the accused doctor and further investigation is underway,” said the police.
