Woman doctor saves 60-year old man with CPR at Delhi Airport

New Delhi: A woman doctor is receiving widespread praise on social media after a viral video captured her saving an elderly man who suffered a heart attack at Delhi airport. Social media user Rishi Bagree shared the videos on X, depicting the woman doctor, administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the man lying on the floor. According to Bagree, the man, in his 60s, experienced a heart attack at Terminal 2 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The caption read, “Today at T2 Delhi Airport, a gentleman in his late 60s had a heart attack in the food court area. This lady Doctor revived him in 5 mins. Super proud of Indian doctors. Please share this so that she can be acknowledged.” In the first video, the doctor is seen frantically pumping the man’s chest while calling out to airport personnel. The following video shows the man regaining consciousness as the doctor continued performing CPR. With 5.1 million views already, the internet praised the doctor for her swift response.
