Smart Healthcare Initiative Under Smart City Mission
Jhansi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated the New Smart City Hospital and Pathology Centre in Jhansi, marking a significant development in the region’s healthcare infrastructure under the Smart City Mission.
Extending his congratulations, CM Yogi highlighted the importance of the project for the people of Jhansi.
“I have inaugurated Jhansi’s first smart hospital under the Smart City Mission. I congratulate the people of Jhansi for this achievement,” he said.
During his visit, he also explored the Space Museum, another project under the Smart City Mission, which has generated over ₹30 lakh in revenue since its inauguration.
UP’s Transformation and Development
CM Yogi reflected on Uttar Pradesh’s transformation, contrasting it with past challenges such as insecurity, halted transportation after sunset, and youth migration.
“This is the same Uttar Pradesh where youth were forced to migrate, where traders struggled to survive, and where farmers faced dire conditions. Today, under the leadership of PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh is advancing as part of a New India,” he stated.
Development Projects in Sarojini Nagar
A day earlier, CM Yogi attended the Sarojini Nagar Solar Dialogue and Development Exhibition in Lucknow, where he announced that projects worth ₹32,000 crore had been approved or were already in progress in the Sarojini Nagar area.
“A new convention centre will be built at a cost of ₹1,200 crore, and a Defence Corridor is also being established in this region,” he added.
With these initiatives, Uttar Pradesh continues to push forward with infrastructural and economic advancements.
