Two doctors booked for botched cosmetic surgery in Ludhiana

Ludhiana : An FIR under section 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety others) of the IPC has been filed against Dr J S Kathuria and Dr Ajay Kuma of K. Deep Nursing Home located at Guru Arjun Dev Nagar for performing a botched cosmetic surgery. As per the complaint of the patient Gurdeep Kumar, he had gone to the hospital to get cosmetic surgery done on his nose. However, he said that after the surgery, his nose went out of shape and he started suffering from breathing issues. He approached the doctors, who gave him medicines which continued till three months. When his breathing issues did not resolve after the medication, he approached the police. After taking the opinion of civil surgeon the police has booked the two doctors for botched cosmetic surgery.
