Telangana to appoint 235 contract doctors

Hyderabad: The health department on Tuesday issued a notification for the appointment of 235 doctors on a contractual basis for Osmania General Hospital (OGH) and Gandhi General Hospitals (GGH). The hiring will be done, as said by State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, for the positions of professors, associate professors, assistant professors, senior resident doctors, and tutors. The appointments will be conducted through walk-in interviews, which will be conducted on August 9, 2024. Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha had instructed officials to expedite the appointments. The Hyderabad District Collector, Additional Collector, Director of Medical Education, and Commissioner of Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad have been appointed as nodal officers to ensure a transparent selection process.
