Tragic Incident at Malakpet Railway Station
A 26-year-old woman doctor, Alisha, lost her life after being struck by the Sampark Kranti train at Malakpet railway station on Friday. The incident occurred while she was crossing the railway tracks to reach Kacheguda for work.
Details of the Accident
According to Inspector Yellappa from the Government Railway Police (GRP), Kacheguda, Alisha, the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed Ali from Chanchalguda, attempted to cross the tracks between Platform No.1 and Platform No.2 when the speeding train hit her. She suffered severe bleeding injuries and died on the spot.
Response and Investigation
Following the accident, Kacheguda Railway Police reached the scene and shifted her body to Osmania General Hospital for further procedures. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
