₹2.4 Crore Allocated to Improve Healthcare Facilities
Tiruppur: In a significant boost to public healthcare, nine government hospitals in Tiruppur district have been selected to receive state-of-the-art medical equipment and upgraded facilities through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding.
According to sources, an estimated ₹2.4 crore has been allocated to the District Health Society for installing the new equipment. This initiative aims to reduce patient dependency on the medical college hospital or district headquarters hospital by making essential treatment services available closer to their homes.
The upgrades are expected to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities, ensuring better accessibility and quality healthcare for residents of Tiruppur.
