Bengaluru: KIMS Hospitals, Mahadevapura, has expanded its oncology services with the inauguration of the KIMS RENOVA Oncology Institute, a comprehensive cancer care centre designed to provide advanced, integrated, and patient-centric oncology treatment. The institute was inaugurated by former Indian cricketer and Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), VVS Laxman, marking a significant milestone in strengthening cancer care infrastructure in Bengaluru.

KIMS Announces 134 Free Cancer Screening Camps
Reinforcing its commitment to preventive healthcare, the KIMS RENOVA Oncology Institute, in collaboration with the Samrohana Cancer Foundation, announced the “134 Free Screening Camp Pledge.” Inspired by VVS Laxman’s 134 Test matches for India, the initiative aims to conduct 134 free cancer awareness and screening camps for underserved communities, promoting early detection and timely intervention.

The inauguration featured an engaging fireside discussion with VVS Laxman alongside Dr. Sandeep Nayak, Chairman – Oncology & Executive Director – Surgical Oncology & Robotic Surgery, and Dr. Suresh Babu M C, Director – Medical Oncology.
