National Capacity Building Programme Announced
The Health Ministry on Thursday released national guidelines on medical oxygen management and launched a capacity-building programme to enhance handling and utilisation of medical oxygen.
Training of 200 Master Trainers Across India
The initiative aims to train 200 master trainers nationwide, who will further educate hospital administrators and medical officers on efficient oxygen management, minimising wastage, and improving clinical outcomes. The programme will be conducted in collaboration with AIIMS, New Delhi.
Lessons from Covid-19 Pandemic
Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava emphasised the importance of maintaining medical oxygen infrastructure, stating that efficient utilisation is crucial in meeting surging demands during emergencies.
