Hazaribagh: A female doctor suffered minor injuries when she was attacked by the family member of deceased patient at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College while she was on rounds in the male ward of the hospital. The doctor’s broke one of her teeth in the assault but managed to run away from the ward leaving behind her shoes and belongings.
The doctors and interns after learning about the attack created ruckus in the hospital. Meanwhile on-lookers interfered and manage to lock the accused who has attacked the doctor locked in a room. The police reached the hospital and arrested two suspects of the assault. They took a written complaint from the female doctor and the investigation is going on.
