Hyderabad: A former HR operational head of a private company has been booked by Banjara Hills police for allegedly sexually exploiting a doctor by deceitfully promising marriage. The 33-year-old accused, originally from Gurgaon, worked at the same facility where the woman served as a skin and hair specialist.

According to the complaint, the accused concealed his marital status and falsely claimed he was separated. He even showed her what were later found to be fake mutual divorce papers. The woman alleged that the two had a physical relationship on several occasions between March and April 2025, including during a business trip to Chandigarh. She also stated he borrowed ₹2.5 lakh from her.

In April, he reportedly performed informal marriage rituals with her at the Balkampet temple to gain her trust. However, the truth surfaced in early May when the woman visited his flat in Kondapur with a friend and a family member. There, she encountered his pregnant wife, who apologized and admitted her husband had deceived her. “I became pregnant due to his exploitation,” the woman said in her police complaint.

Following this confrontation, the accused and his wife allegedly left Hyderabad and relocated to Pune, cutting off all contact with the complainant.

A case has been registered under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for sexual intercourse by deceitful means. “He is not in Hyderabad. Our team is trying to locate him,” said an investigating officer.
