16 Vacancies Across Multiple Specialties Including Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology

Chennai: The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive to engage Super Specialist Posts on a contractual basis. The recruitment will be done through a walk-in interview scheduled for July 19, 2025, at the hospital premises located on Ashok Pillar Road, K.K. Nagar, Chennai.

Vacancy Details:

A total of 16 vacancies are available in the following specialties:

  • Cardiology
  • Endocrinology
  • Haematology
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Medical Oncology
  • Paediatric Surgery
  • Urology
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Surgical Oncology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Reproductive Medicine and Surgery
  • Rheumatology

General Eligibility Conditions:

  • Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear for the walk-in interview. However, a candidate can appear only once in a month for such interviews.
  • Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements as of the date of the interview.

Important Instructions:

  • Document Verification Timing: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    No candidates will be allowed after 11:00 AM.
  • COVID-19 Protocols: All applicants must wear face masks, carry sanitizers, and maintain social distancing.
  • Eligibility Verification: Only those whose documents are verified and found eligible will be allowed to attend the interview.
  • Reservations: Applicable as per Government of India norms.
    • 2 posts are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
    • Candidates with at least 40% disability and a valid Disability Certificate issued by a competent medical board are eligible for PwD benefits.
  • The Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, reserves the right to modify, cancel, or withhold recruitment at any stage without stating reasons.

Documents Required at Walk-in Interview:

  1. Two recent self-attested passport-size photographs
  2. Self-attested copies of:
    1. Date of Birth proof
    1. Educational qualifications
    1. Experience certificates
    1. Research papers and publications
  3. Original versions of all the above for verification
  4. Valid PwD certificate (if applicable)
  5. Reservation category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in the Government of India prescribed format
  6. No Objection Certificate from employer (for those working in Government or PSU sectors)
