Jabalpur: Eminent paediatric surgeon Dr V K Raina, associated with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, passed away at the age of 81, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in the field of medicine. As a mark of respect for his extraordinary service to humanity, he was accorded a Guard of Honour.

In a final act of generosity, Dr Raina donated his body to the medical college, fulfilling his wish to contribute to medical learning even after death. His decision underscores his lifelong dedication to advancing healthcare and nurturing future generations of doctors.
