Chennai: Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital has announced cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador, further strengthening its commitment to excellence in eye care services.

For over two decades, the hospital has been conducting 100 free eye surgeries annually under its ‘100 Centuries, 100 Patients’ initiative as a tribute to Tendulkar, the only cricketer to score 100 international centuries and a recipient of the Bharat Ratna in 2014.

A Significant Partnership

Professor Dr Amar Agarwal, Chairman of Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, expressed pride in the association, stating:
“We are honoured to have Sachin Tendulkar as our brand ambassador. His legacy in cricket aligns with our mission to achieve excellence in healthcare.”

The collaboration was marked by the launch of two television commercials featuring Tendulkar.

Tendulkar’s Commitment to Eye Care

Tendulkar, who previously inaugurated the hospital’s Bengaluru facility, shared his enthusiasm about the partnership:
“Years ago, I had the honour of inaugurating their Bengaluru facility, where they pledged to provide free eye surgeries. It feels like we have come full circle with this association. Together, we look forward to spreading awareness about the importance of eye care across India and the world.”

The partnership aims to enhance awareness about eye health and accessibility to quality eye care services.
