In a major administrative action in Chikkamagaluru, the District Surgeon has been removed from his post following the arrest of a man who allegedly impersonated an IAS officer. The decision comes amid allegations of cheating and suspected links between the surgeon and the accused.

New District Surgeon Takes Charge

Authorities have appointed Dr Chandrashekhar Salimath, previously serving as District Surgeon-2, as the new District Surgeon. He officially assumed charge on Saturday.

Allegations of Fraud Nexus and Hospital Mismanagement
